This truly unique and wearable sculpture represents Miranda Caroligne’s latest brainstorm: creating comfortable couture designs from fleece offcut.  Offcut is the scrap material that remains after a pattern is cut from flat fabric.  In standard clothing manufacturing, this fabric is discarded as undesirable refuse.

Miranda Caroligne has developed relationships with ethically responsible local designers and manufacturers to re-use this offcut material.  In doing so, she strives to educate consumers and inspire them to make steps to diminish waste in all areas of their life.  Devised from sustainable ethos and creative practice, these new Offcut designs complement the wearer far beyond aesthetics alone.
